Film team sees miracles in India

India (MNN) — Samuel Chauhan, a missionary supported by Gospel for Asia, has witnessed the miraculous things God can do through a simple film and a dedicated missionary.

Samuel, who serves in GFA's film ministry, has shown the film "Jesus, Man of Mercy" in 33 villages and cities. He has seen many people learn about Jesus and come to know Him as Savior.

One of those people is Moulik. Only 18 years old, Moulik suffered from chronic stomach pain. Although he had visited many doctors, they could not relieve the pain.

One day, after watching the film, Moulik asked Samuel to pray for him. Right then and there, God did something amazing in Moulik's life: The Lord healed him. Moulik chose to follow Jesus and joined a Gospel for Asia-supported congregation.

Samuel has also requested prayer for his eyes. For the last five years, he has not been able to see clearly, and the doctors say he needs an expensive operation.

In spite of this challenge, Samuel continues to work in film ministry. He also leads a small congregation and is active in reaching out to the community where he serves.
