USA (MNN) — A ministry that's reaching out to the urban poor in the United States is gearing up for Easter ministry. While Easter is still more than two months away, your help is needed now.

Here's Life Inner City is hard at work developing an Urban Book of Hope. It's designed specifically for inner-city children. It will tell the life saving story of Jesus and present the spiritual message in a colorful, dynamic, easy-to-understand way to reach urban children.

Here's Life plans to distribute these books in Easter Bags this year and at S.A.Y. Yes! Centers nationwide. S.A.Y. Yes! Centers are in-your-life mentoring ministry centers that focus on the whole child. They are committed to helping young people develop a dynamic, life-long relationship with Jesus Christ and helping them become all that He created them to be.

Here's Life's National Director Ted Gandy says, "This will be one of the most powerful evangelism and discipleship tools Here's Life Inner City has had the privilege of presenting."

$60,000 is needed to provide 60,000 Urban Books of Hope. Your $100 gift could potentially introduce 100 children to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
