Ukraine (MNN) — Over 800 Ukrainian youth attended last month's annual youth conference in Odessa, Ukraine.

Organized by Russian Ministries and the Association for Spiritual Renewal (ASR), the conference theme translated to "Gravity" and encouraged these Next Generation leaders to focus on "resisting the pull of evil and secularism and remaining faithful to God's call on these young lives," according to Russian Ministries Web site.

Instead, attendees were shown how to best engage the culture and reach it with the Gospel.

The two-day conference also featured several speakers such as Paul Tokarchuk, the executive director of ASR; and Mikhail Fadin, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Moscow.

Finally, youth were encouraged to become involved in a variety of outreaches to other youth and their communities. One such outreach is the Gift of Life, an upcoming Easter evangelistic outreach and gift distribution.

Ultimately, Russian Ministries and ASR are committed to "mobilizing, motivating, training and equipping the Next Generation for leadership and ministry," Russian Ministries' Web site reports.
