Land’s End to help tsunami victims

USA (MNN) — Christian humanitarian relief agency International Aid’s, based in Michigan is getting support from many American companies. This time, Land’s End Corporation is providing 10,000 backpack to help the ministry meeting the tsunami victims needs.

Those backpacks will be used to assemble disaster relief kits. These kits will help victims combat thee spread of disease by including basic hygiene and health supplies such as soap, shampoo and toothpaste. I-A is also responding with 20,000 blankets.

$30 is all it takes to provide life saving relief to a family in crisis. International Aid’s President Myles Fish says, “All of our work will be done through local Christian churches that will all be done in the name of Christ. It’s our attempt to demonstrate the love that we have for people in an effort to gain the opportunity to articulate the hope that we have in Christ.”
