Life Action Ministries hosts weekly tele-net broadcasts and invites you to join this Saturday.

USA (MNN) — It’s an invitation to renewal, to stir our hearts for God.

Life Action Revival Ministries is hosting a live, interactive telephone and internet prayer meeting every Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. (EST), studying the devotional book, Seeking Him. It’s a 12-week event, challenging Christians to get to the heart of revival, and Life Action invites you to be a part of the interactive discussion.

Bob Bakke is a facilitator on this week’s program. He expressed his heart for this time, “These phone prayer meetings are intended to stir within the hearts of people a longing both for God and for the revival that is so needed within the church today–a revival of one’s passion toward Christ, a revival of one’s passion to see Christ exalted over our nation and the nations of the earth, and a passion to be fully and completely in love with him, and to honor all that he has done for us and to rejoice in that.”

Tomorrow the program will focus on how grace is at the heart of revival and Bakke encourages people to not just listen, but also be involved in this unique opportunity. “The hour is part devotional, part facilitated conversation, and part interactive prayer meeting, with various members joining in that prayer time. So it’s not just simply a thing to listen to, but it’s an hour of engagment – and hour of engagement with brothers and sisters in the Lord, and also with Christ Himself in prayer.”

“It’s a remarkably fruitful hour,” says Bakke, a time he hopes more and more people will share in. He longs to see it grow from the hundreds now, to thousands of people joined together to fan into flame a passion for God and His presence amongst His people.

Bakke is encouraged and excited about what God is doing through this ministry. “The snapshots of hundreds of people, throughout the country, joined in this moment with a similar passion, with a similar eagerness to see the work of God renewed in our day, united in prayer – well, this is an exciting thing.”
