Russia (MNN)–The people at the end of the world are being reached with Christian love and compassion. MNN’s Greg Yoder is traveling with a team from Russian Ministries and files this report. “It’s the Arctic Siberian area known as the Yamal region. It’s an area often forgotten by missionaries. Since Russian Christmas was January 7th, the region inhabited by 17 ethnic groups will be receiving Boxes of Love, in partnership with Samaritan Purse’ s Operation Christmas Child. Russian Ministries Sergey Rakhuba. “Just imagine a person who lives somewhere 150 km above the Arctic Circle. They think that everybody forgot about them. So, here is a group of young Christian people mobilized, trained and supported by Russian Ministries, they drive these snowmobiles. They pulled those sleds loaded with those boxes. It opens the door to witness about Christ’s love.” Recently translated New Testaments and scripture audio produced by the Institute of Bible Translators will also be distributed.
