Ministries cooperate to reach youth in Congo

Congo (MNN) — Reaching children with the Gospel is a high priority for Grace Ministries International. That's why they're partnering with Book of Hope International to help provide God's Word to kids in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Grace Ministries would like to place the Book of Hope, a harmony of the Gospels, into the hands of 40,000 students in primary and secondary schools of the Grace Ministries churches in Congo.

By God's grace, Book of Hope leaders have been praying for the Congo during the past three years. They plan to send 20,000 copies in Swahili and 10,000 copies in French.

The Grace Ministries team would like you to pray that copies of the Book of Hope will arrive in Bukavu by the end of January 2009. Pray also for Grace leaders as they train 50 school administrators and 20 evangelists on reaching these students with the Gospel.

Nine men have been chosen to lead this new thrust. They've set a goal to bring 1,000 young people to Christ during this new school year.
