Missionaries making headway in Mali.

By June 22, 2006

Mali (MNN)–Veteran staff from the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee are laying the foundation for ministry in Mali.

It’s the only country where CRWRC works that there is no Christian church or partner, and the population is primarily Muslim.

Over the last 20 years, the couple, whose name has been withheld for security reasons, have been ministering to the Fulbe people group. They’re just now beginning to see people respond to the Gospel.

They’re working on the first translation of the New Testament in the Fulfulde language, a literacy program and a box library system that has grown to 70 villages.
