MNN wins honor from NRB

USA (MNN) — President of the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Dr. Frank Wright is pleased to announce that Mission Network News, a service of Cornerstone University, is the winner of the 2012 NRB International Impact Award.

Mission Network News was nominated by its peers in the Christian broadcasting industry. According to Wright, "This decision is based on a thorough review and judging by the NRB International Committee. This award is presented to a U.S.-based NRB member having a global impact for the cause of Christ through electronic media."

"We're honored by this award," said Greg Yoder, Anchor and Executive Director of Mission Network News. "I want to thank God for allowing us to serve Him. The award is attribute to my great MNN team, listeners, radio stations, and internet friends who use the news and information we produce to pray, give, or get out of their comfort zones to do something for Christ."

The official presentation of the award will take place at NRB's 69th Annual Convention in Nashville, TN, February 21, 2012 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center.
