More Christians Interested in Coffee Shop Ministry

Australia (MNN) — Good things continue to brew at Mars Hill Café in Australia, reports Grace Ministries .

Lately, Kevin and Lisa Crouse have been blessed to receive feedback from Christian leaders.  The leaders have heard about the exciting things happening at Mars Hill Café and feel God calling them to open similar ministries.

Recently a couple from Montana visited the Crouses in their home to discuss their ideas about starting their own coffee shop ministry

The café started more than five years ago as a place where believers could be a witness.  Australians, in general, aren't supporters or followers of organized religion. This type of ministry means they can reach out to many people they otherwise would not have a chance to interact with.

The café is located near a mall area with lots of traffic. They offer live music every Wednesday and Saturday as well as monthly writers' events. They also have a large list of drinks along with a full menu of hearty meals. You can surf the Web for free on their wireless internet- the first offered in the area.
