China (MNN)–Another printing of the World Bible Translation Center’s Easy-to-Read Chinese Bibles is in the works.

WBTC wants to print and distribute another 80,000 of its Easy-to-Read Chinese Bibles inside China this year. They are distributed within days after they come off the press and most often, whole printings are spoken for before they go to press.

Some 200,000 of the Center’s Chinese Luke/Acts portions and 20,000 of the Center’s Chinese Bibles are scheduled to to be printed and distributed in China this Fall towards their goal.

Church leaders believe that in the next five years, there will be at least 600-800 more people baptized and some 200 more churches should begin as a result of the Center’s distribution efforts.

Pray for this ministry and its distribution partners who are doing all they can to see this happen. Ministry teams are also raising funds for the project.

World Bible Translation Center exists to provide accurate, easy-to-understand translations of God’s Word in the world’s major languages. The Translation Center has completed 26 New Testaments and 11 Bibles and is currently at work on 16 languages. Some six million of the Center’s Bibles, New Testaments and Scripture portions were distributed during the year 2002.
