New Tribes Mission looks for a plane.

By December 22, 2003

Indonesia (MNN)–Indonesia is a nation of many islands where overwater flights are common.

Since 1969, New Tribes Mission Aviation has been providing safe, efficient, and cost effective aviation support for NTM missionaries worldwide. All NTMA personnel desire the same thing, to be a part in giving tribal people the opportunity to hear the Good News of eternal life available as a free gift through Jesus Christ.

The team has spent many hours of research looking for a plane to replace one used for more than 20 years. A newer aircraft is needed to replace the Piper twin which has become obsolete and costly due to age, needed repairs, and lack of replacement components.

After much prayer and deliberation, they have decided to refurbish and update a plane that was formerly used in Columbia and has been out of service since May 1997.

Pray that God will provide for this project, and give wisdom to all who are making the plane ready for field use.
