OM reaches from Pakistan to Panama

Pakistan (MNN) — Over the past few months, Operation Mobilization has taken out Bibles and tug-o-war ropes to reach a goal of 5,000 children with the Gospel.

Through its "Love Pakistan More than Gold" Kids' Games project, OM visited ten Pakistani cities to organize field games for children from various churches. At their inaugural event in October, 300 children attended. Numbers only continue to increase.

By November, the games reached as many as 1,200 children in one city. Children participated in a four-day game program and were encouraged to pray for Pakistan and the world as they engaged in fellowship with each other.

At the end of the tour, 24 children were chosen to help 200 needy children at a local hospital and to visit 300 others living and working in brick kilns. The 24 prayed for the suffering children and were built up in their faith as a result.

OM is conducting dozens of outreach programs across the globe in 2009. And you are invited to participate. The Games project in Pakistan lasted a few months. Now, shorter outreaches will take place in 2009. Trips to Greece, Italy, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Cambodia, Nepal, South Africa and New Zealand are being offered. Projects vary from installing playgrounds to teaching English. The mission to serve in these places is fulfilled by people like you who are willing to step outside your comfort zone and do the work of the Lord.
