USA (MNN) — Seeking the Lord with your whole heart is the heart-cry of the host of the U-S based ministry ‘Revive Our Hearts’, a ministry of Life Action Revival Ministries .
Nancy Leigh DeMoss, the speaker of the broadcast, says with that goal in mind they’ve produced a study called, ‘Seeking Him’ to help Christians and churches seek Christ with their whole heart.
DeMoss says, “We’ve found that the solutions for the situations in our world or in our homes (are) not going to be found in government, or education, or any means other than the Lord Himself. This is just a concentrated 12 week period with one hour Saturday prayer meetings as a part of this thrust.”
The study is more than a Bible study. DeMoss says, “One of the great components is that with each of the themes there’s an opportunity to join with other believers who are studying the same material and seek Him together. So, there’s accountability. There’s encouragement.”
If people begin ‘Seeking Him’ it will have an impact on evangelism. “As you study revival history you see that when God’s people get right with God, when they return to their first love, you can’t stop them evangelizing others, from sharing the Good News that they have found,” says DeMoss. As hearts are revived, non-believers will take notice.
