Re-gift useless stuff to be blessings for the Kingdom

USA (MNN) — Now that the holidays are officially over, and you don’t have any more white elephant parties to take your unwanted gifts to, what are you going to do with the extra stuff?

Did you know that Americans fill more than 78 square miles of storage space with their stuff? That’s enough space to cover Manhattan three times! And it costs $24 billion per year just to store all of this stuff.

Do you wonder if all of these resources–the stuff and the finances–could be used for some greater purpose?

Pioneers USA is now accepting non-cash re-gifts of all kinds. Pioneers is an organization that mobilizes teams to glorify God among unreached peoples by initiating church-planting movements in partnership with local churches.

Through a partnership with iDonate, they can process old vehicles, electronic, stocks, etc. and liquidate those non-cash gifts into funds that support their mission by sending missionaries to work among unreached people groups.

Maybe you have an old gift card that is just taking up space in your purse or wallet. Pioneers can now accept the money on that card that you don’t plan to use. They’ll put it toward building the kingdom of God.

But do non-cash gifts really make a difference? You decide. Recently, Pioneers received a donation in the form of corporate stocks. Once processed by iDonate, those stocks were valued at $20,000! And another person recently donated an old home theater projector, which provided Pioneers USA with around $200–a very helpful sum for a missionary on the field.

If you have the ability to make a gift–large or small, cash or non-cash, please consider “re-gifting” the blessings you’ve received from the Lord. Your contribution at any amount will be doubled, thanks to a generous matching opportunity for the 2015 Multiply Campaign.

So instead of wasting money to store all of your stuff you don’t use or want, re-gift it to support the workers on the mission field and grow the kingdom of God.
