Relief agencies in Haiti need prayer

Haiti (MNN) — Hurricanes and violence have forced the closing of roads in Haiti causing major economic problems in a country already struggling. For Haiti with Love says gasoline prices are now at $6 (US) a gallon, which adds the cost for shipping and distributing food, medicine and other supplies.

Based in Cap Haitien, For Haiti runs a medical clinic and food distribution program there. Because roads are closed between the city and the port, the price of everything is high. It’s also made food and other goods at the marketplace scarce.

With the raising costs, For Haiti with Love is asking people to help with a financial gift to help ship food and medicine to the region so they can continue helping the Haitian people in Jesus name. It currently costs $25 (US) to get 100-pounds of beans to the area, which could help feed dozens of people.

If you’d like to help go to their web site http://www.ForHaitiWithLove.org or call them at (727) 938-3245.
