Repairs progress as does theological instruction in Ukraine.

Ukraine (MNN)–A devastating fire April 30th failed to dim the enthusiasm of church leadership in Odessa, Ukraine.

The Association of Baptists for World Evangelism says workers have been scrambling to make repairs to the Church Ministries Institute building.

The CMI is critical to the theological training program in Ukraine, Russia and Moldova, but, the facility is still not usable.

Approximately six meters had to be cut off the right side of the building. That will cost two offices and the dining room on the first floor, the MK classroom, library and Christian Education supply rooms in the basement and four dorm rooms on the top floor.

Pray for the government documentation and the funds that are still needed to make the building usable once again.

Classes will continue this fall in a temporary location at a local church facility. Once the fall term starts, ABWE personnel hope to have their papers in order that will help determine what it takes to rebuild.
