Sharing the Gospel among Latin America’s poorest

Paraguay (MNN)–Paraguay is one of the poorest countries in Latin America and getting poorer.

Sue Givens with Latin America Mission asks for prayer as the staff of New Horizon School near Asuncion plans for the 2004 school year and begins planning for a new multipurpose assembly building.

Team member Ken MacHarg is also giving thanks for the recent opportunity to present workshops on Christian radio in Peru and Paraguay and is praying for additional opportunities to help the Christian broadcasters develop quality programming to reach others for Christ.

Latin America Mission continues to work with local ministries to form firendships and share the Gospel message through a variety of means.

Team members are involved in medical relief to youth camps, church planting , office management, personal counseling and emergency response.

LAM has opportunities for both long-term and short-tem service in various areas as they try to share the love of Christ and Gospel message to the needy people of Paraguay and throughout Latin America.
