(Middle East)–We begin today with a question, ‘should Christians convert Muslims?’ That was the question on a recent cover of TIME magazine. Bible Mission International’s Malcolm Smith says the answer is, ‘yes’. “I think the first and foremost thing we have to remember is that we have a mandate that was given to us to go out and make disciples of all the nations. And so, for us to shirk back just because a nation is Muslim, it’s not an option for us. We have to go.” Bible Mission International works in the Muslim world. Smith says the TIME article wasn’t far off in that Christians need to be creative in reaching Muslims with the Gospel. “When we go out and we try to do big programs and big campaigns those things are really offensive to folks in that part of the world. What we try to do is rally bring this down to a one on one relationship to with people…giving people the opportunity to see the hope that is within us.”
