(India)–Elsewhere, Christian &Missionary Alliance contacts in India say their work in the area suffered no severe damage in the January earthquake. However, the relief arm of the C&MA has established an emergency relief fund to assist the national church in India with its outreach to affected communities. A mid-February seminar on community development and church involvement in meeting community needs will be held as planned in India. Pray that hearts would be open to receiving God’s peace and comfort in the midst of the tragedy.
