(Japan)–Meanwhile, rising nationalism appears to be having an impact on Christians in Japan. Voice of the Martyrs reports they’re growing concerned over the adverse impact this movement is beginning to have on the lives of ordinary Japanese Christians, especially missionary school teachers. Local governments and schools are enforcing the veneration of the country’s flag and anthem, and punishing those who aren’t cooperating. Please pray for the continued outreach of evangelistic agencies in Japan.
