(Philippines)–Meanwhile, New Tribes Missions is appealing to the Abu Sayyaf for the release of missionaries Martin and Gracia Burnham. The Muslim rebel group kidnapped the couple in May. A Philippine TV station aired an interview on November 25th with the Burnhams. The couple, looking thin and malnourished, say their captivity has been both a tragedy and a hardship, and they long to be with their three children again. The Burnhams have been members of NTM since 1985. Please continue to pray for their safe release.
