Meanwhile, Christians from all over Latin America are gathering in Ecuador. They’re meeting in that South American country for the 4th annual Latin America Congress on Evangelism. Latin America Mission’s Ken MacHarg is in Quito and files this report. “At least 1,300 delegates are participating in lectures, prayer sessions and workshops to learn how to evangelize their own continent. There is particular concern for the violence in neighboring Colombia as well as children in the streets. Speakers have urged the attendees to use innovative methods such as micro enterprise, literature, the internet and music to reach non-believers throughout Latin America. The meeting will continue through Friday.
