(Israel)–While violence continues in Israel, that unrest isn’t stopping an evangelistic outreach from heading there in November. The Alberto Mottesi Evangelistic Association is taking more than 150 Christians to the Holy Land. AMEA’s Francis Monge explains why. “Our main purpose is to reach out to the Israeli people. Especially during these bad times, we feel that it’s really important as people of God to show them that we love them and that we support them and we’re with them. We feel we’re going to be ambassadors of Christ.” According to Monge, it won’t just be a tour of the Holy Land. She says because pastors and lay leaders will be a part of the trip evangelistic outreach will be also. “In the evenings we like to take the pastors and the leaders to the different Messianic churches where we do have outreaches to the Israeli people and actually preach the Gospel to them.” Monge is still recruiting more people for the trip.
