(Afghanistan)–While the conflict in Iraq continues, World Concern is helping the country of Afghanistan rebuild after years of drought and war. Because food is scarce, World Concern, with the help of a local partner, is sharing God’s love by introducing ‘Superflour’, a tasty, nutritious breakfast porridge made from chickpeas, rice and corn. As economic opportunities are limited, World Concern is turning production over to locals – giving them an opportunity to own and operate their own small business.
