An evangelical ministry to athletes is speaking out against the recent U-S Supreme Court’s decision against prayer. Monday’s decision stops student lead stadium prayers before football games. President of Fellowship of Christian Athletes Dal Shealy says while the U-S is seeing the blossoming of spiritual life among athletes, the high court is showing hostility to all things religious in public life. Shealy calls the decision a bizarre and ironic intrusion in the religious life and expression of America’s student athletes.
