(Poland)–Change is the order of the day in Poland as a new administration takes hold. Polish lawmakers have inaugurated a new left-wing government in the hopes of a better post-communist life. Back to the Bible’s Mark Blowers says because local officials are asking for their help, he doesn’t think things will be radically different for their work. “When you have people on the local level saying, ‘Will you come and help us?’ A lot of times, that’s when the rubber meets the road and what happens at the national political level, it probably take some time to really make a change.” Blowers adds that for their work to continue to expand, people need to pray. “We may not have the freedom we would like to see, but at the same time, we’re taking the here and now and saying we do have this freedom now. We do have the change to go into the high schools and the prisons, and hold these young person rallies and people are listening to the radio and responses are happening. So, we’re going to take the moment and run with it.”
