(USA)–Christians around the world are being asked to pray for evangelistic meetings slated for the United States in May and June. Luis Palau is gearing up for Mission Connecticut, a series of youth and family friendly celebrations to introduce people to Christ. “We’re touching 11 cities across Connecticut, which is a small state with over three-million people. We’re trying to touch every level of society. We’re hoping to evangelize the whole state. We’re looking to the Lord for great things and we need His blessing financially and also weather-wise.” Palau says it’s important not to forget the lost in the United States. “If we do not plant the see of the Gospel in the hearts of millions of Americans, especially the recent immigrants, we’re going to have a disaster. I’ve put a lot of emphasis because I think the USA with its influence could lose the influence if we don’t re-evangelize it.”
