(USA)–JAARS says missionaries are in great need and they’re telling people about that need at ‘Missions At The Airport’ events in the United States. JAARS speeds Bible translation by providing quality services for Wycliffe Bible Translators. MATA (mah-tah) is in West Michigan this week. Wycliffe’s Ed Speyers explains the program. “We’ve brought in a helicopter today to bring in people from around this general area to come and find out what it is that helicopters are doing in missions. For people to really get on board in terms of prayer. Also, maybe finding out what the Lord might want to do through them in terms of missions.” According to Speyers Bible translators and aviators aren’t the only missionary needs. “We need people to design web sites. We need computer personnel. We are in need of 250 teachers right now to help teach the children of the missionaries so that the missionaries can keep doing the job that God has called them to do.”
