(Russia) — The director of a Russian drug-rehabilitation ministry was kidnapped July 24th in the Russian city of Izevsk, 200 miles southwest of Perm. The missionary identified only as “Dema” was director of Works of Faith, a ministry supported by Christian Aid Mission. “Dema” was returning home when six masked gunmen in two cars pulled up beside him and kidnapped him. He has not been heard from since. His program was effectively leading many people to Christ. It’s possible it may have been cutting into the drug trade there.
