(India)–Bibles For the World is hoping to have an impact on millions of Indian untouchables when they renounce Hinduism on October 14th. Dalits, the outcasts of Indian society, are rebelling against the oppression they’ve experienced for centuries. Bibles for the World is printing 100-thousand copies of “Freedom and Dignity” that they’ll distribute at the huge gathering in New Delhi. Ministry officials believe these books, coupled with 500-thousand copies of the Gospel of John could help point them to Christ.
