By November 9, 2000

Two ships are enabling a mission organization to get into countries that are traditionally closed to the Gospel. Operation Mobilization’s Doulos and Logos ships travel the world mobilizing the church in evangelism and training, while providing relief aid and literature. O-M’s Miles Toews (taves, like gaves). “We’re obviously a Christian ministry and so the fact that we’ve had the opportunity to come and work in some of these somewhat closed countries. It’s just been amazing. Of course we come in very sensitively and we share the Gospel.” According to Toews, OM needs more workers in all areas to help sow seeds of the harvest. “We’re still really praying and asking the Lord for some longer term committed marine engineers, deck officers. Also, especially for young men who love to serve the Lord in practical ways though carpentry skills, electrical skills, welding and who love to serve with their hands.”
