(Russia)–Meanwhile, the Book of Hope is celebrating a milestone in their ministry. This summer marks the 10th year they’ve been working in Russia. Book of Hope’s Bob Hoskins says Book of Hope just returned from a celebration at a church in Siberia, a place where there were no churches 10 years ago. “There were over 7,000 people in attendance and the pastor asked how many pastors were there and over 40 pastors stood. And, he said, now, how many of you, your church was planted through a Book of Hope distribution, and, (it was) 100-percent of them.” Hoskins says the Book of Hope isn’t stopping there. He says a Russian pastor is using it for further seed planting ministry. “Right now, their primary thrust is into the mainly Muslim republics of Russia. They’re going into places like, Bashkiria, which is Muslim. In fact, we have a team there right now doing distribution and church plants.” Pray that many will turn to Christ as a result.
