(USA)–Next, a revival meeting in the one-horse town of Anahuac, Texas has put the church on the spiritual map. The revival was a turning point not only for unity among the area believers in the San Antonio area, but also for a church now brimming with life. Life Action Revival Ministries’ Lane Johnson. “What God is doing is happening way outside of just there, locally, in the issue of unity and prayer, and a sense of ‘God is up to something’. It’s broad mission opportunities that are coming their way in an unbelievable way.” Johnson says it began a month ago, with a massive land gift in Guinea, followed by an unexpected call to the local pastor, Gary Hilliard. The call was a plea from a Sierra Leonean government official. “‘We want you to come do in Sierra Leone exactly what we’ve heard you want to do in Guinea.’ Gary’s trying to talk them out of it, saying, ‘We can’t come over there and do that, we don’t even know what we’re going to do with the 250-thousand acres in Guinea.’ And the guy says, ‘Oh. That’s what they gave you? Well, we’re going to give you 250-thousand acres. We want you to come over and do the same thing here in Sierra Leone.'”
