(Turkmenistan)–Meanwhile, the Baptist World Alliance says pressure continues to mount on a Christian prisoner who has reportedly been taken to the capital of Turkmenistan, in an apparent bid to persuade him and his family to agree to leave the country for the United States. Keston News Service continues to monitor the situation and we ask believers to pray. Pray too for the church there. It is reported that another pastor has been banned by the secret police for leading worship and traveling after they raided an open-air Baptist service.
