By July 24, 2002

(Papua New Guinea)–Elsewhere, in Papua New Guinea, New Tribes Mission reports that the government wants the Mamusi believers to take on the responsibility of teaching literacy in all 30 Mamusi villages. The government understands that the literacy program is a supplement to the main focus of the teachers, which is Bible teaching. Praise the Lord for this open door; pray for the Mamusi Church as it mobilizes for this task, and for missionaries.
