(USA)–Meanwhile, the world of Spanish language Christian books expands. Latin America Mission’s Ken MacHarg. “Publishers of Spanish-language Christian books say that their sales are taking off with the growing Hispanic market in the United States. Strong growth has been noted from Miami to North Carolina and Texas to California. The Miami based publisher Editorial Unilit has teamed up with several distributors to get bookstore owners to begin to note the Spanish-speaking people in their community. Larry Downs, Jr., the newly appointed President of Unilit says they are providing Bibles, music and books and a merchandising kit including letters to pastors and other promotional material. Downs said that many mid-America cities may not yet be able to support a Spanish-language bookstore, but within five years many of them could. For Mission Network News, I’m Ken MacHarg in Miami.”
