(Afghanistan)–Next, it’s a contrast of hope and sorrow–of humanity and eternity. As people around the world remember those who died in the terrorist attacks on the United States a year ago, Gospel for Asia will begin broadcasting the Gospel into Afghanistan. The broadcasts will be in the country’s two official languages, Dari and Pashto. Gospel For Asia’s KP Yohannon. “God willing, on September 11th, we are starting our broadcast on that day, sharing the Gospel in these two major languages with the people of Afghanistan. It’s a major event for us; as a mission, everybody’s praying and excited to see what the Lord is going to do.” Yohannon says that there is much to pray for in this venture. “Pray specifically, that starting September 11th, millions of people will turn on to this broadcast and the Lord would prepare their hearts, and thousands would come to know the Lord.”
