(USA)–Meanwhile, an evangelical ministry is reaching out to abused children in the United States. According to Wayne Tesch with Royal Family Kids Camps, there are more than three-million abused children in the U-S. Tesch says Royal Family is providing them with a positive camping experience. “We’ve had over 60 camps so far and we have close to another 30 camps to finish up in the month of August. And, all these camps are designed specifically to reach children who come from abusive backgrounds in our society. And, we’re able to just demonstrate God’s love to them with our counselor ratio of one adult for every two kids.” Tesch says like the story of the little boy who was saving star fish washed up on shore, he’s asking churches to get involved. “I’m calling people to come on down and be involved in helping abused children that have been washed up upon the beach of life that, with God’s help, we can make an incredible difference within their lives.”
