(Latin America)–And finally, Christian camps in Latin America are doing more to encourage non-Christian young people to go to camp. According to Latin America Mission’s Lisa Anderson Umana, they work with churches to make camp more of an evangelistic outreach. She says they work with churches to train “camper-evangelists” in friendship evangelism. Umana says campers are selected based on their willingness to invite their non-believing friends to camp. She says many are coming to Christ.
