(USA)–And finally, as millions of Americans remembered Martin Luther King Junior, thousands were given a chance to understand salvation through Christ. The American Tract Society released a tract that outlined the slain civil rights leader’s commitment to Jesus Christ. The tract was a regular part of activities at church services and at evangelistic events. It’s uncertain how many people turned to Christ because of the literature, but it’s certain that many seeds of the Gospel were planted.
