Story number 5 for 23 Apr 2001

(China)–And finally, China Partner says they’re facing an exciting expansion prospect in their outreach. President Erik Burklin says things are falling into place to reach into a new area. He tells us what’s happening. “China Partner has been invited to go to a small Bible School in the capitol city of Inner Mongolia. To the best of our knowledge, there will be about 50 or 60 young people there. These are all people that come for training seminars. What’s exciting about this is that these are all grassroots, lay Christians.” Burklin adds that the possibilities for the future must be bathed in prayer. “These are people who are believers, who want to get further Biblical training so that they go back to their provinces and their particular different counties in their province to help in church work. Pray for wisdom so that when we meet these individuals that the relationships would grow, and that we can bring the love of Christ to these people.”
