(Senegal)–And finally, bread wrappers are being used to spread the Gospel to people isolated from Christian witness. According to the Southern Baptist International Mission Board, bread vendors in the West African country of Senegal are wrapping their bread in special wrappers that qualifies the buyer to redeem it for a prize – one of 14 different Bible stories and Bible verse memory cards in the Serer (SEER-eer) language. As these stories are passed around, the Gospel is spread among this Muslim people group.
