Teen Missions team ministers to hundreds of children and adults.

Brazil (MNN) — Even rain and storms are used for God’s purposes, and man’s plans are not always God’s plans.

That’s what the Brazil team with Teen Missions International learned when a storm prevented them from going to the village where they had been planning to serve. Roads were cut off and the church in that smaller village was not able to receive the team due to storm damage.

But God had something better in mind in the larger town of Salvaterra.

The Teen Missions team put on children’s programs for more than 120 children, more than 50 of whom made decisions to follow Jesus. They also showed the JESUS film in two locations with more than 180 people in attendance.

Rain during their second night of outreach caused them to move into the church building, but that didn’t stop God from moving in the hearts of 13 adults who prayed to receive Christ that night.

Hundreds of children and adults had a chance to hear about Jesus, and God gave the team great joy in seeing Him work despite changed plans and bad weather.

Praise God for His great work and pray for the continued growth of those who made decisions for Christ.
