The Christmas story in audio

By December 23, 2010

International (MNN) — Although 91 percent of Americans celebrate
Christmas, only 28 percent read or tell the Christmas story from the Bible, according
to a recent LifeWay Research survey.

Now, however, there's an easy way to listen to the Christmas story,
with a high-quality, 11-minute audio recording from Faith Comes by Hearing. "The Christmas Story" is a word-for-word dramatic
reading of the Gospel accounts of Matthew and Luke, complete with multiple
character voices, musical backgrounds, and sound effects.

The purpose of the program is to help people engage with the Bible this
holiday season and hear the Christmas story in a dramatic, audio format. "The Christmas Story" is available
free-of-charge for radio stations to air.

Individuals may also obtain the free recording through the iTunes
store, at www.FaithComesByHearing.com,
or by texting "CHRISTMAS" to Bible (24253).

Founded in 1972 as a non-profit organization, Faith Comes By Hearing
records and uses Audio Bibles to reach and disciple the world's poor and
illiterate people. Currently, the ministry has Scripture recordings in 500
languages.
