USA (MNN) — If you’ve ever thought of adopting, hoped to adopt, or felt that you’re definitely called to adopt, there’s an event you may want to attend.
Bethany Christian Services of Lancaster, PA is hosting their Northeast Adoption Summit April 25-26, 2014 at Calvary Church in Lancaster, PA.
This two-day event will focus on raising awareness and advocating for children who are waiting for a family to call their own and will provide training for the adoption community on a variety of adoption issues.
Join hundreds of other pre-adoptive and adoptive parents as well as professionals to be:
- challenged
- trained (continuing education credits pending!)
- encouraged
- inspired
- unified…as a community with hearts for children all over the world!
Even though you may not be able to attend the event because of logistics, please pray for those attending. Pray for families who are thinking about adoption. Pray for those who are experiencing post-adoptive child issues. Pray that God will call many more families to what the Bible calls true religion, caring for the widows and orphans in their distress.
