Training video released to help inmates

By July 7, 2004

USA (MNN) — Those helping prison inmates in the United States are receiving much needed help. Crossroad Bible Institute has just released their Instructor Training Seminar video/DVD. It’s all part of Crossroad’s program to help inmates in the correspondence Bible school.

Crossroad Bible Institute is an organization that provides Bible correspondence classes to those who are in jail and prisons. The goal is to see these forgotten people come to Christ and ultimately discipled.

The training seminar video/DVD is used to help empower volunteers to disciple these prison inmates. As they grow in their faith in Christ it helps them successfully re-entry society. Recidivism is low for those who are part of the program.

More volunteers and funding are needed. Crossroad expects the number of students to increase significantly this next year. Pray that God will meet these needs accordingly.
