2010 starts with replacements, renewed passion and rebirth

India (MNN) — Here's  an update on a story we reported last month
out of India.

Audio Scripture units were the last 50 units available
for distribution via Audio
Scripture Ministries
in India.

The units were being sent to an office that
was last on the distribution list and had been eagerly awaiting the arrival of
the units, but they never arrived.

JP Sundararajan with ASM explains: "Essentially the units were stolen en route
and replaced with a copy of an old Bible and some old medicine bottles
etc.  Somebody just swapped
packages."

ASM immediately sent
100 replacement units to their partner in Bangalore, but they're praying more
can be sent soon. Each unit reaches an average of 10 people with the Gospel. Ideally, the team would like to have 1000
players for the February distribution.

The team is lining up a distribution in North India and
Northeast India. Pray–coordination of this drop is especially
challenging.

It costs about $50 to provide a unit for a family in their
own heart language. Many of the people
in the region are uneducated and illiterate. Scriptures in audio in a language they understand can change lives. To help them reach their goal for the distribution, click here.
