Guatemala (MNN)–The Association of Christian Schools International reports on a milestone celebrated in Guatemala.

The Instituto Federico Crowe in Guatemala City just graduated 36 students. According to ACSI, among the students were 20 adults who studied in the Saturday program. Ten of the graduates are from very low-income families who live on a family income of less than $100 a month.

The success brings out another need for more space to grow. The team is praying for a new facility by July 2004.

Through Christian education, ACSI’s vision is to see students understand a biblical worldview, and live the hope of the Gospel, evangelizing those in their community.

The Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) is a ministry with the goal of being an “enabler” for the evangelical Christian community of preschools, elementary and secondary chools, and post-secondary schools. ACSI works to accomplish its mission by providing information, services, and products needed by more than 4,800 member schools in 95 countries. The combined student enrollment of these member schools now exceeds 1 million students internationally.
