A key radio launch in Poland opens doors for the Gospel.

Poland (MNN)–HCJB World Radio has finally seen the launch of another full-time Christian radio station partner in Southern Poland.

After three years of waiting, the government gave permission for the Cieszyn station whose sign-on brings the number of Radio CCM partners to five.

The new station joins Oswiecim (Auschwitz), Ustron, Bielsko-Biala and Gliwice. The signal can also be heard across the border in the Czech Republic, so up to three million people now have access to the Gospel. Listenership surveys indicate that about 10 percent of residents tune in to Radio CCM at least weekly.

The radio station is targeting people who are spiritually indifferent. Plans are also in the works to link all stations in the network via satellite whenever finances and government approvals are in place.
